Description
The VSA
League Championship Meet will be held at The Doherty Valley Aquatic
Center in San Ramon on Saturday and Sunday, July 31st
& August 1st 2010, starting at 8:30 am on Saturday
and 9:00 am on Sunday. Boys and girls 6 & U and 7/8 along with
Boy’s 9/10 events will be held at the West end of the pool
both days. Girls 9/10, Boys & Girls 11/12, 13/14, and 15-18
events will be held at the East end of the pool both
days.
Location:
Dougherty Valley High School Aquatic Center, 10550 Albion Road, San
Ramon: Take Crow Canyon Rd, Turn left on Dougherty RD., Turn left
on Bollinger Canyon Rd., Turn left on Albion Rd.
Start Time:
Saturday - 8:30am, Sunday - 9:00am
Warm Ups:
Saturday - 7:30-8:00am and Sunday - 8:00-8:30am West End Pool
Lane 1, East End Pool Lanes 7 and 8 (9&Up at east end
pool).
Saturday: 8 and under warm up
times: 7/8 boys 7:30am, 7/8 girls 7:40am, 6/U 7:50am
Sunday: 8 and under warm up
times: 7/8 boys 8am, 7/8 girls 8:10am, 6/U 8:20am
Caravan to Meet:
Saturday, July 31st - meet at the Blackhawk Plaza
Starbuck's parking lot to carovan to the meet with the team.
Carovan leaves lot at 6:45am. Please be
there a few minutes earlier.

purchase on Saturday monring. The program costs $6, so bring
cash.

Team Set Up:
Gates open at 6:30am both days. No team set-ups allowed on
Friday, July 30th. VSA & Team reps will be preparing
the facility and it will also still be in use by the City of San
Ramon.
Stroke and Turn meeting each day
in the Aquatic Center Administration office building at
7:30am. All other meetings will occur on the pool deck 20
minutes before the start time.
Parking: There are approximately 600 parking
spaces on the Dougherty Valley High School campus. No parking is allowed on Albion
Road and parking in the neighborhood proximate to the
school while is available, but limited. Try to carpool, if possible. Attendees will be
guided to a single main entrance into the facility in an attempt to
control traffic and focus on safety for all participants and
attendees. Volunteers will be guiding
participants as they arrive. You will
have the ability to either park directly or unload your gear prior
to parking and attendants will be guiding you and keeping the flow
moving.
