2010 Summer Swim Season
Blackhawk Swim Team (The HOX) is a recreational swim program that combines training and competitive swim meets with friendship building, teamwork and fun! The season kicks off on April 12th and runs through August 15th. The team competes in 10-12 meets from early June to mid-August, typically on Wednesday nights and Saturday mornings. During the week there are daily practices, sometimes working on stroke improvement and other times on conditioning. In addition to practicing and competing in meets, the HOX provides numerous social activities throughout the summer. You can expect age specific activities as well as many that include the entire family. The HOX swim team is for swimmers 18 years of age or younger, from the novice to experienced swimmer!
(Note: A minimum swim membership at Blackhawk Country Club is required to swim on the team, at clinics or in Stroke School.)
